About

This window exhibition features the work of Gallery@501 members created in the last 8 months. The artwork on display is reflective of how local artists have responded to the pandemic. Some artists have channelled their anxiety into their work, creating art that deals directly with the uncertainty we have all been experiencing in 2020. Other artists have sought refuge in their art practise and have chosen to use the physical act of making as a form of escape. The resulting display shows the full spectrum of responses and serves to highlight the ways in which art can be a useful tool in navigating daily challenges both big and small.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

This exhibit is in the Gallery@501 window space so it can be viewed outdoors safely at any time day or night.
