The AM-FM Symposium is a complementary event that addresses critical issues in cinema and the black community. This year's symposium is titled: Fragility/Vulnerability and Cinema. The Keynote is Prof. Alexie Cheuyap, University of Toronto.

African Film Festival in Manitoba

As AM-FM was conceived to engage the large, diverse, and growing African population, and the festival provides a platform to highlight and showcase African creativity and African issues and challenge colonial spaces and decision-making.
