Join Cheyanne Pitawanakwat on September 27th, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, for a workshop on tanning fish hides. Located at the backlot of Debajehmujig Creation Centre.

She will give verbal instructions and then share the process of taking it from raw skin to leather.

The Debajehmujig Storytellers, also Debajehmujig Theatre Group, or informally Debaj, is a First Nations theatre group and multi-arts organization based in the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island in Northern Ontario. Debaj is the longest running Indigenous theatre in North America.
