About

Enrich your child's education, friendship circle, and fun, with this unique and low- cost musical opportunity. The non profit organization, Music at the Towers, (referred to as MATT) offers classes in which children learn to play an orchestral string instrument, and within a year are playing a concert together in a string orchestra! Free private instruction is included as part of the program for each child .

Now celebrating its 10th year, the MATT program has been recognized locally, provincially and nationally, for its diversity, its well-trained teachers and its outstanding results.

In our short documentary, included here, you can learn what parents, students and teachers find very worthwhile about this musical adventure which teaches music, but also builds focus, self esteem and and self discipline along the way.

* MATT adopts and rigorously applies all Gov't-mandated policies re Covid 19.

Organizer

Artistic Director, and Music at the Towers Staff

Throughout the school year, Music at the Towers, a non-profit organization, holds string instrument classes including private lessons, for Beginners and for our continuing music students, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after school.

Our vision is to ensure that every child can join in and learn to play, ie. every student of every economic level and culture, is welcome.

To manage this, we offer very low fees, and bursaries where needed. Good quality instruments are provided through rental and assistance with this annual fee is available when needed.

We have been recognized and supported by the City of Brampton, TD Musicounts, Ontario Trillium Foundation, Delta Bingo and private donors some of whom continue to offer annual assistance. Without this support and that of our volunteer Board of Directors, we would be unable to provide the high quality of instruction which our teachers and our full program offerings provide.
