Join longtime CBC producer Neil Ritchie as he celebrates the unique styles of artists from the worlds of film, opera, jazz, and more.
September 26: Gordon Lightfoot – Revisiting this singer, composer/lyricist, and proud Canadian from a past 2021 lecture series.
October 3: Yannick Nezet-Seguin – This Montreal-born pianist is a conductor of the Metropolitan Opera, the Orchestre Metropolitain Montreal, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, bringing youthful energy to the podium.
October 10: Welsh singers – With a population of just over 3 million, the country of Wales manages to produce some amazing singers, including Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, soprano Gwynneth Jones, baritone Bryn Terfel, and the Treorchy Male Choir.
