About
In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, experience WaaPaKe (Tomorrow), a deeply personal documentary by Dr. Jules Arita Koostachin that sheds light on the lasting impact of residential schools on Indigenous families and communities. This powerful film moves beyond intergenerational trauma, inviting viewers to break the silence and come together in collective healing, freedom, and strength. Free tickets are available at the John Elliott Theatre Box Office.

Halton Hills Public Library
We have proudly served our community for more than a century. The Georgetown Public Library was founded in 1895. Three years later, the Acton Public Library opened its doors. The two libraries operated separately until 1974 when they merged and became the Halton Hills Public Library.
