Join Shaelyn from the Dropped Stitch to do some crafting! In this virtual tutorial, you'll learn the basics of knitting. We will learn: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and casting off. You will need US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles, and medium weight yarn (Double Knit or “DK”, Worsted, Aran); these are great sizes for beginners to work with.
