About
Join us for the annual Apple Festival at Battlefield House Museum & Park National Historic Site located at 77 King St. W. in Stoney Creek. The Georgian-style homestead is the site where, in 1813, the Gage family was held in the cellar as the Battle of Stoney Creek raged outside. Built in 1796, Battlefield House provides visitors the opportunity to experience life in Upper Canada during the early 1800s. Explore the 32 acre parkland and visit the Battlefield Monument, opened on June 6, 1913.
Enjoy apple treats and mark the harvest with wagon rides, music, games, children’s crafts, hands-on demonstrations, re-enactors, and pumpkin decorating, and a pancake breakfast hosted by the Stoney Creek Lions Club. Chefs of all ages are invited to enter the annual Battlefield Apple Pie Bake-off to win a wonderful prize.
