Merengue Session
Dance Class – Merengue Moves
Merengue, known for its upbeat tempo and playful footwork, will set the stage for connection and celebration. The instructor will explain its Dominican origins, highlighting how the dance reflects unity and joy.
Audience Engagement:
Participants will learn easy-to-follow steps, often danced in pairs but just as fun solo. The session will end with everyone dancing together in a group sequence, creating an atmosphere of movement, laughter, and inclusivity.

The Brampton Latinos Association is a community-led non-profit dedicated to celebrating and uplifting people of Latin American heritage. We create spaces where culture, music, food, and traditions can be shared with the wider community, helping people feel connected and proud of their roots.
We are best known for our signature events: the annual Brampton Latin Festival and Fiesta Navideña, which bring together thousands of residents each year. Alongside these celebrations, we host other cultural activities and initiatives throughout the year and are currently developing new programming set to launch in 2026, focused on supporting and empowering our community in meaningful ways.
