In Lieu of the traditional grande parade,
This year, the traditional Niagara Grape & Wine Festival Grande Parade that we all know and love has been cancelled due to circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the help from our friends at Meridian, we’re thrilled to present something new and exciting – the Meridian Porch Parade. This is an invitation to all of Niagara to show their Grape & Wine Spirit by decorating their porches, lawns, homes and businesses. The Festival will livestream the community spirit and will reward the 5 most “spirited” neighbourhoods with a mini parade down their street.

Who: Fans and Friends of the Niagara Wine Festival
Decorate Your Porch: Get creative and show us how YOU Grape & Wine. Use streamers, balloons, sidewalk chalk, etc. to unleash your Grape and Wine Spirit.
Contest: The Niagara Grape & Wine Porch Parade committee will select the 5 most spirited neighbourhoods – your neighbourhood representative will be contacted by September 18, 2020.
The neighbourhood with the most Grape & Wine Spirit on Parade Day will win the opportunity to join the 2021 Niagara Grape & Wine Festival Grande Parade on your very own float!

While it may look a little different than in the past, the 2020 vintage of the Niagara Grape & Wine Festival will provide wine lovers with a fresh, safe way to experience the Festival's most popular events and activities.
From a fun new approach for the beloved Grape & Wine Parade, to a new initiative that will bring the festivities of Montebello Park to your own backyard, to creative new ways to enjoy and explore Niagara's wineries, the 2020 Grape and Wine Festival will be a new blend of safe wine country experiences.
