Book Making Workshop with Ho Tam

Friday Sept 23, 7:00pm

Have you ever wanted to make a book? Maybe a book about a trip you took, an homage to a beloved pet, or a collected edition of your drawings and photos? There are a lot of possibilities, and making art books is a great way to tell your story and share with friends and family.

Join us for this hands-on book making workshop with visiting artist Ho Tam, whose exhibition TIMELINES is on display at the gallery September 6 - November 26 at GDAG.

Learn new skills, create a unique artwork, and get inspired alongside other creative and curious people.

Basic materials will be provided, including paper, scissors, rulers, staplers, masking tape, scotch tape, pens, pencil crayons, and glue sticks.

Participants are also invited to bring any other materials they might want to work with, such as magazine or newspaper clippings, photographs, fabric, or other objects that could be incorporated into a handmade book. The gallery may also assist to print colour photos on art quality paper for participants who are interested (for example, if you would like to print photos from your phone).

The workshop will take place at Blue Drip Art Supplies, and will run approx. 3 hours.

Free of charge, but capacity is limited.

Contact GDAG to reserve your spot today.
