About

Peter Reitsma is an environmental artist whose work explores themes of hope and resilience in the face of ecological and social challenges. His art often reflects on the impact of human activity on the natural world, juxtaposing the beauty of nature with the metallic, skeletal remains of industry and economic injustice. Through his paintings, he seeks to give the land a voice, inviting viewers to consider what it might say about healing, survival, and our shared responsibility for the planet. His work delves deeply into the wildness of nature while questioning humanity’s role in shaping the future of our home in the universe.
