Organizer

Owen Sound Community Artist Studio Tour

Owen Sound has such a large diversity of artists. This needs to be showcased!

Owen Sound is a beautifully scenic city, nestled in the Niagara Escarpment on the shores of Georgian Bay. The natural beauty of the area inspires people, especially creatives, to make Owen Sound home. The City is full of artisans of every type: authors, drawers, painters, photographers, sculptors, potters, woodworkers, jewellers, and everyone in between. This large art community needs to be celebrated more and more each year. This is the overall reasoning behind reestablishing a Studio Tour in the City.

The Tour is being co-ordinated by Amelia Kraemer and Caroline Tremblay. Amelia is an established encaustic artist and the owner of the Upwards Art Studio in Owen Sound. Caroline is an emerging artist from Owen Sound who has an interest in promoting local artists and their work in our community.
