This series compile, present and share stories related to Latin Hispanic immigration that build bridges of interest, empathy and commonality among Latin/Hispanic community and the Sault Ste. Marie residents.
Sharing our stories related to immigration that generate a positive understanding of the ways that immigrants build the strength and vitality of the Sault Ste. Marie and the Northern area in particular.
Highlight Latin/Hispanic immigrants in the community if Sault Ste Marie and area
Compile a bank of stories related to Latin/Hispanic immigration that can be used in strategic ways as an educational activity or tool in classrooms, and/or a resource for newcomers
Encourage children and adults to talk to elders to record family history.
