About

A creative exploration of place, memory, and poetic expression.

This word art workshop invites participants to engage with the language of place and history. Located at the Mission Harbour, as part of the Voices of the River Event, participants will explore how sites and histories in Mission City, BC, can inspire epigrams—short poetic or expressive phrases—that reflect personal or communal resonance - giving voice to the spaces and places.

These epigrams will be transformed into visual word art pieces or piece that will funnel into a greater public art piece. Please invite friends and family to attend alongside you.

Registration is no longer necessary for this event. It will be drop-in style between 2pm - 4pm.

Please note: this workshop has changed from what was originally advertised.
