About
Join floral artist Linda Phillip to create a fall centerpiece. Learn to wire and assemble various elements from faux leaves, flowers and other decorative elements.
Linda will help each participant create a personally designed table centerpiece in a fall theme. They will be provided with decorative containers, faux flowers and leaves. Additionally they can use branches, grapevine balls, raffia and decorative elements provided. Linda will teach them how to wire up elements and how to design and put together their final pieces.
This activity is funded by the St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP) Culture Days grant

Start Me Up Niagara
The artistry of Designs by Linda has been a hobby of Linda Philip since she was very young. She had always had a flair for crafting and once she discovered floral arrangements she was hooked. Since then she has been looking for a way to merge her passion for creating with a business model. In September 2016 she officially created Designs by Linda and has been selling her products since that time.
Linda works with the employment team at Start me Up in the Work Action Centre to assist her to grow her business. As a person with a disability she has had the support of the centre staff to launch her business successfully.
