About
Take a stroll through the beautiful Heritage District of Old Thornhill. This self-guided walk will take between 60-90 minutes to complete and take you through the Village where you will visit 13 points of interest exploring the history of Thornhill. You will learn the tragic fate of the town's namesake, enjoy the gardens of J.E.H. MacDonald a founder of the Group of Seven that painted the infamous Tangled Garden, and visit the most charming street in the community, Colborne Street don't forget to drop by to visit the Heritage Gardens of the Village Library.
