About

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment on purpose and non-judgmentally. It has grown in popularity in recent years and there is growing evidence that mindfulness is not only a way of reducing stress but that it can positively influence neural connections in the brain and as a result benefit the whole body.

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness on the brain, body, and emotions and have opportunities to try short mindfulness practices. Participants will come away with concrete tools to navigate stress, cope with overwhelming emotions and increase focus.
