About

Step into an afternoon of poetry that’s as relaxed as it is resonant.

Join local poetry groups, Poetry Stratford and the Huron Poetry Collective, for an intimate and informal gathering that blends live readings with heartfelt conversation.

You’ll hear a range of local poetic voices – some tender, some bold, all deeply rooted in lived experience and creative exploration. After the readings, they’ll open the floor to you: audience questions, shared reflections, or simply quiet listening – all are welcome.

This event is about connection and building a space where poetry is accessible, honest, and alive. It isn’t about polished performance or academic critique, so whether you’re a curious newcomer, someone who’s just starting to find your voice, or a seasoned writer, come join. Pull up a chair. Ask a question. Or just take it all in.
