A message from Hornepayne community artist, mover and shaker, and early years educator extraordinaire Laureen Stefanic:
Halloween is coming and I need your help for a special video project I am working on with singer/musician Sophia perlman and 2 emerging artist-mentors from the YOUthink program, supported by Algoma Univery's Faculty of Music and Hornepayne Community Arts.
I have written a Halloween Story and would like EarlyON families to draw the illustrations.
Once the illustrations are done, the interns will design and produce the video for us. Special recognition will be given to everyone involved in this project.
If you are willing to contribute a drawing please contact me so I can tell you what picture to draw.
Drawings need to be submitted by Thursday October 1, 2020.

Hornepayne Early ON Child and Family Centre
We provide a variety of free drop-in services to families. Children and parents have the opportunity to participate in early learning activities based on the Early Learning Framework and emergent curriculum that follow Ministry of Education guidelines. Families can participate in programs such as circle time, creative activities and literacy programs in addition to exploring the 'wonderful world of play'. We also offer an abundance of resources and information pertaining to parenting, school readiness programs, literacy programs for parents and children, linkages and referrals to children's services, and a Triple P facilitator on site. We definitely offer a place for children and families to meet, learn and have fun!
