October 8th – October 14th is Fire Prevention Week in Canada. During Fire Prevention Week, children and adults learn how to stay safe in case of a fire. Firefighters provide lifesaving public education in an effort to drastically decrease casualties caused by fires. Fire Prevention Week is an opportunity for the community to come out and learn about fire safety, enjoy some food trucks, activities, displays and meet our Fire Fighters!
