Have you ever been curious about the history of Scugog? If so, come down to Palmer Park and join staff from Scugog Shores Museum Village & Archives for an interactive booth exploring Scugog's past. The booth will include info on the township's museum and history, some historical artifacts from the townships, as well as a crafting activity.
A perfect event for anyone interested in the heritage of Scugog and wants to learn more about it.

Scugog Shores Museum
The Village shows what daily life was like in Scugog from the mid 1800s to mid 1900s. We preserve, research, interpret and exhibit artifacts related to the cultural and natural history of the Township of Scugog area. The Village includes:
11 restored buildings
Heritage flower, herb and vegetable gardens
Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands
Their mission is to preserve, research, interpret and exhibit items that will serve to illustrate and promote the history of the Municipality and the Lake Scugog area. They have a vision to provide each resident and visitor with a better understanding of Scugog and rural Ontario history and our First Nation Heritage. They feel it is necessary to showcase vibrant historical museums, places, and stories that engage our community, preserves our heritage, and educates our visitors.
