Unit 115

Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning

Sunday, 29 September, 10am-2pm

Through a combination of cyanotype photography and digital collage, Stardust draws out the striking conceptual links between the microcosm and the macrocosm—Beta vulgaris is a plant. Beta Centauri is a star. Referencing ancient and modern star atlases alike, Stardust celebrates the cosmos, encapsulated in the seed.

Please consider bringing seeds saved from your garden for our seed swap—a free exchange of seed which will take place in the gallery on Sunday, September 29th!

About the artist:

Anna Soper has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from OCAD University, where she won the OCAD University Medal in Photography in 2011. She has studied at the Glasgow School of Art, and has a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Western University.

Born and raised in the Kingston area, Soper has also exhibited her artwork in Toronto; New York; and London, UK. She works as a librarian in Kingston. Find her online at
