About
Join the Elora Fergus Arts Council and the Elora Sculpture Project for an engaging panel discussion exploring the many roles that public art plays in our communities.
Why do communities invest in public art? How does it shape our shared spaces, reflect local identity, and create a sense of place? What makes a successful public art project, and what challenges arise along the way? The conversation may touch on the creative process, funding, site selection, maintenance, and the controversies that often accompany public art installations as well as how public art can inspire dialogue, strengthen community connections, and contribute to vibrant, welcoming public spaces.
Whether you're an artist, community leader, or simply curious about the art you encounter every day, this lively discussion offers an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and join the conversation about the future of public art in Centre Wellington.
