About
Through the pandemic this group has continued to engage with the community with their inclusive and joyful celebration of dance, music, and culture. Karishma Sharma and Binder Basi of the North Coast Indo-Canadian Arts Club talk about being a part of last year's virtual parade, and how they now plan on documenting things like games and folk dance so that they can keep the fun and learning alive, for everyone in Prince Rupert.

Prince Rupert Community Arts Council
The Prince Rupert Community Arts Council was founded in 1971 as a not-for-profit, membership-based organization dedicated to fostering arts and culture in the Prince Rupert region. The PRCAC is run by a volunteer board committed to enhancing the arts community in Prince Rupert. The PRCAC raises funds through membership fees, special events, corporate contributions, and generous financial assistance from the City of Prince Rupert and the BC Arts Council.
In addition to providing member assistant grants and scholarships on an annual basis, the Arts Council hosts a number of inspiring community events including the Kaien Island Craft Fair, Thursday Night at the Movies, and Creative Jam.
