About
Join author Marion Agnew at the launch of her debut novel MAKING UP THE GODS (Latitude 46 Publishing) at Entershine Bookshop in Thunder Bay. Making Up the Gods is equal parts quirky and sincere in its thoughtful exploration of tragedy and recovery, of new and old relationships, and of deeper questions of when to let the past rest. Set in contemporary Northwestern Ontario, the story nods to the realities of life in Thunder Bay and stereotypes of living in a small city while paying more attention to the communities that people create. In addition to a reading by the author and a Q&A session, books will be available for purchase and/or signing.
