Directions: At approximatley 12 Noon please join our walk at Cenntenial Park - behind Uxbridge Public Library.


Free, and accepts optional pay-what-you-may donations for admission.

A full day of events to acknowledge Residential Schools & Reconciliation. We begin with a Community Service at St Paul's Anglican Church, Uxbridge at 10:30 AM. Leading the service will be Rev. Leigh Kern,

an associate priest at St. James Cathedral. Rev. Kern's information is available at the following link.

We invite local families to join our Culture Days - Ontario Visitors as we gather in Centennial Park (behind Uxbridge Public Library) to begin our walk ( about 12:00 pm) to the Free Afternoon Concert Venue at Trinity United Church, accompanied by Durham Region Police Service First Nations Cruiser.

Our Free to the Public concert ( 2:00 pm) features the Ashunyung Singers and Dancers - Story Tellers - The Traditions of the Big Drum. We acknowledge our many sponsors in Uxbridge, Ontario, who have given funds and gifts in kind to support our Free to The Public Concert.

Maamawi Collective is a Collective of Volunteers who wish to provide a source of information and create positive connections with First Nations, Métis and inuit People. We are pleased to be invited to join with other volunteers representing local churches who make up the Organizing Committee for Orange Shirt Day - Uxbridge 2019.
