About

Come and join us as we bring your garden indoors. Participants will be guided in creating paper flowers while learning about pattern and form.

For the younger participants we will have paper plates to work with. Participants can use coloured tissue to decorate their flower.

For the artist in you, recreate your favourite flower by observing petal and leaf shapes. You will be guided in cutting paper patterns and assembling your floral creation. All materials are provided.

Parents stay and play with their children. Suitable for adults and youth too.

Free Drop-In Art Activity led by local artists Salomé Perez and Nancy Peng. Sponsored by the Waterloo Public Library and Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association.

The Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association (LWNA) is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers for residents of Laurelwood and affiliated with the City of Waterloo. Artist in residence - Nancy Peng and Salome Perez are professional local artists and volunteers with the LWNA.
