Step back in time with us on a guided Heritage Walking Tour through Downtown Brampton!

Discover the evolution of the city’s architecture from the 19th to 21st centuries, and learn about the heritage elements and styles that give Brampton its unique character.

👟 Be sure to wear comfortable shoes - the tour will involve walking and standing for a couple of hours.

The Heritage Planning Team is part of Integrated City Planning at the City of Brampton. The team develops and implements heritage policies, regulations, standards, and guidelines to support the conservation and celebration of Brampton’s cultural heritage resources. In addition, the team is responsible for reviewing development applications to ensure that proposed changes respect and conserve identified cultural heritage resources in accordance with municipal, provincial, and federal heritage legislation and policies.
