Sigvaldason Fine Art

Owner and President of Sigvaldason Fine Art, Nolan Sigvaldason has been helping collectors, businesses and corporations add works of art to their collections since 2010. Operating as a private art dealer, he helped add significant and important works of art to collections in Manitoba and throughout Canada. Some of these artists include works by well known Canadian artists Emily Carr, Norval Morrisseau, Maud Lewis and Leo Mol. In 2013, he opened his first public fine art gallery in Arborg, Manitoba. Then in 2014 he held his first Live Canadian and International Art Auction at The Winnipeg Winter Club with host and auctioneer Big Daddy Tazz. Since then, he has held many fine art auctions and has sold artwork to countries around the world. 2014 was also the first time Nolan worked at the International Art Fair in Toronto (now Art Toronto), selling a number of artworks to collectors. Sigvaldason Fine Art Inc. (SFA) was established in 2023 in Gimli, Manitoba, and is located at 70 Centre St. The gallery specializes in Historical and Contemporary Canadian Art. The town of Gimli is one of Manitoba’s busiest tourist communities in the summer, hosting a number of world class events and attractions including “Islendingadagurinn” the Icelandic Festival of Manitoba, first held in 1890. The gallery is located directly down the street from the Gimli Harbour, the gallery is conveniently located for ease of access with plenty of parking.
