The Prince Albert Council for the Arts is hosting this Open House at the Arts Centre at 1010 Centre Ave. The following guilds/groups will demonstrate or have a hands on activity which the public can try their particular form of art. Prince Albert Spinners and Weavers; Northern Image Photographers; Prince Albert Potters Guild; Mid Pro Rock and Gems; Studio 1010. Would be artists are invited to drop in at the Arts Centre on September 23rd from 1-4 pm and try a new art activity and see whether they may be interested in joining one of these groups and pursuing a new activity.

The Prince Albert Council for the Arts is a council which supports and encourages local groups and individuals in Prince Albert and surrounding area. We both support visual and performing artists in different ways, by hosting events, bringing in visual art shows at the JV Hicks Gallery, offering free programs for school age children. Our big event is a yearly Evergreen event at which local artisans can rent a booth to sell their pottery, art, photography, woven scarves to name but a few. Local musicians have an opportunity to perform at this 2-day event.
