About
Drop-in and create an original artwork that showcases your cultural expression! Using a wooden 4X4 tiIe and paint, bring to life who you are; no previous art experience required. Imagine if you could show what your culture means to you in a painted tile and that piece became part of a larger mosaic project called "Culture Across Our County"- this is your chance! All are welcome.

The Orillia Public Library is a fully accessible community and cultural hub in the downtown; we provide free access to books, magazines, DVDs, downloadable resources, and Internet access. Community members are welcome to participate in a wide variety of programs and events, including storytimes, technology learning opportunities, classes for seniors, and programs for children, teens, and adults ranging in topics from art and trivia to yoga, book clubs and more. We also house a large collection of print material and photos documenting Orillia’s storied past available for in-library use in the Local History Room.
