About

The first half of the Diefenbaker Gallery tour will review Diefenbaker’s life, career, and legacy in-depth. Highlights include Diefenbaker’s Prime Ministerial accomplishments, an overview of the Avro Arrow cancellation, and a walk-through of two historically-accurate replica rooms: Prime Minister’s Office, 1957-1963; Privy Council Chamber, 1957-1963.

The second half of the gallery tour will review the lucrative world of counterfeiting. This interactive exhibition includes 115 real and fake objects ranging from historical specimens and cultural artifacts to household products and designer brands. Definitions and consumer safety tips from the RCMP and Canadian Standards Association are offered throughout.

Organizer

Diefenbaker Canada Centre

The Right Honourable John G. Diefenbaker dreamed of a united Canada, one which would find strength through diversity. The Diefenbaker Canada Centre’s (DCC) mandate is to build on this legacy by celebrating citizenship, leadership, human rights and Canada’s role in the international community. The DCC proudly hosts exhibits that interpret the Canadian experience, with a particular emphasis on the culture and heritage of the nation’s many peoples.
