About
Geraldo Valério is a highly acclaimed Brazilian-born author and illustrator whose books include My Book of Birds, Canadian Animals in Colour, Moose, Goose, Animals on the Loose! and The Egg. His richly detailed collage and paintings, including At the Pond, which has won many awards like the Elizabeth Mrazik-Cleaver Award, bring the beauty of nature and imagination to life, and his work has been published across North America, Europe, and beyond. Geraldo will be doing an interactive storytime and craft.

We have proudly served our community for more than a century. The Georgetown Public Library was founded in 1895. Three years later, the Acton Public Library opened its doors. The two libraries operated separately until 1974 when they merged and became the Halton Hills Public Library.
