About

Develop a deeper understanding of Indigenous relationships to the land on Truth and Reconciliation Day by learning about the Indigenous language groups of what is now Ontario. Together, we’ll use Moccasin Identifier stencils throughout the library, symbolizing a commitment to acknowledging and honoring everyone’s Treaty responsibilities.

Our installation will serve as powerful reminder of the Territories we inhabit, work on, and play in, prompting us all to cultivate mutually respectful relationships with Indigenous communities. Join us in marking the library with these stencils as a meaningful reminder of our shared responsibilities.
