About

GNW Scene Shop has provided fabrication services to industrial and cultural groups for over two decades -- yet many still don't know exactly what we do or, more importantly, why. Yes, we build things (and on the tour you'll see our carpentry and metal shop and learn about our services), but we also promote three core values: Culture, Advocacy, and Sustainability. Elia Kirby, CEO & Director of Projects at GNW, will offer guests insight into GNW's efforts and advancements regarding the latter, and how our core value of Sustainability is woven into the fabric of our company's raison d'etre.

Organizer

GNW Scene Shop

GNW Scene Shop has provided fabrication services to live-performance companies, museums, galleries, BIAs, municipal governments, and cultural organizations for over two decades, locally and further afield. Our dedication to supporting cultural ecologies is evident in offering not-for-profit companies well-below-market rates, in hiring practices that support artists, in ongoing EDI efforts, and in strengthening our three core values -- Culture, Advocacy, and Sustainability -- in our company as well as in the community.
