About
Cooking is one the universal ways we welcome someone: we introduce them to our favourite dishes and customary practices.
In this program, hosted as part of Culture Days, get a sneak peek at the wide range of delicious recipes submitted to NVCL’s Centennial Community Cookbook. Listen to community members as they share the stories behind the recipes they submitted, and help celebrate North Vancouver’s culinary diversity and expertise.
Attendees are also encouraged to share stories about meals from their own cultural background.
Registration is requested, but drop-ins may be allowed if space permits.
Questions? Email [email protected] or call 604-998-3450.

North Vancouver City Library
The North Vancouver City Library is a landmark building located on the traditional, unceded lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation), and in the heart of the City of North Vancouver.
Our mission is to foster the love of learning in all its forms, connecting people to ideas, information and one another.
