Before there were sewing machines, quilting used to be done by hand and included tying knots to keep all three layers together. Come and try your hand at this historic craft while helping to create a community donation quilt.

Textile Arts Guild of Richmond (TAGOR)
The Textile Arts Guild of Richmond (TAGOR) is a non-profit community group with three aims: 1) to provide members with textile arts learning opportunities through speakers and workshops, 2) to donate textile items including quilts, bags and knitted items to Richmond community organizations in need, 3) to demonstrate textile repair, repurposing and recycling to help reduce landfill waste. The 2024-25 season marks TAGOR's 50th Anniversary Year with several exciting events planned. www.tagor.ca
