About

The “BeDazzled Bra” Project is aimed at raising awareness for Breast Cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we will be inviting the entire Oceanside Community to join us by creating a “BeDazzeled Bra” to contribute to the display of Bras that will exhibit during the month of October. Community Members are encouraged to host BeDazzling Parties for their friends & family members. We hope to see an array of whimsical, whacky, colourful, sparkly, freaky, magical, opulent, personal tribute pieces, and more.

Drop your completed Bras off at the McMillan Arts Centre as soon as you complete them. If you need a bra to BeDazzle, there are some available at the M.A.C. so feel free to drop by and pick one up.

The exhibition will open October 1st and each BeDazzled Bra will be displayed alongside its own “voting box”. The public will cast their votes for their favourite Bra by dropping Loonies, Toonies, and paper currency, into the boxes. All proceeds donated to a local charity. This is not a competition, this is a fundraising event with the emphasis on FUN.
