About

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to sing in a community choir? Here is your chance to join The Richmond Singers for an open rehearsal. The morning will start with a vocal warm up led by Musical Director, Fabiana Katz, and then you will be able to sing along with the choir as they learn some of their new music for the season. No choir experience is necessary and you are welcome to choose to sing, or listen. The Richmond Singers has a well established Covid-19 protocol. Choir members continue to wear masks when singing and we request that our guests also wear masks. Masks will be available. The rehearsal space is large and all participants will be a safe distance from each other. Doors will be open to provide ventilation. There will be a 15 minute break from singing to allow singers to get some fresh air outside. We look forward to you joining us!

The Richmond Singers

The Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women's choir whose purpose is to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for the enjoyment of the members as well as to give public and private performances for the listening pleasure of others. During our musical season (September to June), the choir practices on Monday evenings from 7 - 9:30. The Richmond Singers has two major concerts per year. The choir also sings at a number of community events during the year. A smaller Ensemble sings at several Richmond senior facilities, averaging 35 appearances throughout the year.
