About

Forgotten: The Métis Residential School experience documents and gives voice to the experiences of the many Métis children who were forced to attend Indian Residential Schools. The exhibit explores Métis identity, Métis experience of residential school and cultural reclamation and healing.

Unfortunately, the shipment of the Forgotten exhibit was delayed en route, so our reception will look a little different Sept. 23. The event will feature Métis fiddler Alexandre Tétrault, storytelling by Shaun Vincent, and a hands-on activity as a part of our reflection on the Métis residential school experience.
