About
The Great Pumpkin Festival is composed of three activities:
1. Giant Pumpkin Weigh In - families in the community have spent six months growing the largest pumpkins they can - in many cases well over 100 lbs. GIant Pumpkins will be brought to the Quesnel Farmers Market and weighed.
2. Pumpkin Pie Contest - local entries will be judged on overall quality, taste, and crust originality.
3. Pumpkin Art - this activity is geared towards the youth where they will be encouraged to enter drawings, paintings, etcetera, that thematically involve pumpkins.
