About

Join artist Darlene Hartung at Lyla's House as she leads a workshop that will teach drawing to various ages; the class is designed to engage everyone, those have no drawing experience what-so-ever to those that have quite a bit of experience. The experienced will learn new techniques which will help to improve their skills and the novices will discover their skill. The class will help them realize they can create a very realistic image with just a little bit of help and direction.

Organizer

Darlene Hartung

Darlene’s style is hyper-realism and she uses her pencils to bring the most detail possible out of an image. A familiar face in Halton Hills, Darlene has turned her lifetime hobby into an award-winning career and maintains a studio in Glen Williams, Ontario. As an artist for hire, Darlene creates a unique gift of lasting memory when snapshots from a photo become artwork on the wall. Teaching art allows Darlene to share the love of drawing with others. She believes “there is an artist in most people, you just have to learn to let it out.”
