Follow along with this live step-by-step father and son (age 4) demonstration to build a simple Lego train using standard pieces you already have at home!

This will be a fun family activity which can be joined from anywhere.

Here is the list of materials needed to build the train:

2- 4x4 flat

1- 6x4 flat

2- 4x1 squares

5- wheels without tires. 4x1 square wheels

2- 4 flat

1- hitch & 1- pin (two pieces to connect train with train car)

8- 2x4 (rectangles)

1- 2x6 flat

8-windows

4- 2x2 slope up

10- 2x1

4 lights

4- 4x1

3- 2 flat

10- 1x1 slope down

1-2x2 flat

2-2x4 flat

1-2x2 round ( for smoke stack)

1-2x1round ( for smoke stack)

1- 1x3 slope up ( smoke)

1-2x2 stair piece with spot for lights on front

1- L shaped 2x4 with spot on front for lights

Paul's wife voluntold him to offer this session as a way for families to connect during this time of physical distancing!
