About

Dream Builders is a career planning and vision board event, designed to empower racialized and marginalized youth especially those impacted by socioeconomic inequality through culture driven career building, community connection, and creative expression.

This event bridges the identity, upbringing and future by helping youth explore how their cultural identities can fuel their goals in education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Through interactive prompts, mentorship circles, and storytelling, young people ages 13 to 29 will gain access to tools, resources, and inspiration to envision and shape their next chapter. As the new school year begins youth will have the ability to map out their future and plan.

YouthUnlocked

My name is Kimora Lee, and I am a dedicated mentor and the founder of Youth Unlocked, a non-profit organization committed to empowering racialized and marginalized youth aged 13 to 29 especially those who have been in conflict with the justice system or are at risk. I specifically mentor young girls aged 13 to 25, helping them build confidence, identify their goals, and create positive change in their lives through mentorship, guidance, and support.

At Youth Unlocked, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to rewrite their story and build a brighter future. Our mission is to provide youth with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed academically, secure meaningful employment, and experience lasting personal transformation.

Year-round, our work focuses on advocacy, education, skill-building workshops, and fostering strong community partnerships to help break down the systemic barriers that often stand in the way of our youth. We create safe, supportive spaces where young people can explore their potential, build resilience, and grow into leaders in their communities.

About Dream Builders

Dream Builders is an extension of our mission an event designed to help youth of all ages both boys and girls, especially those impacted by socioeconomic inequality, tap into their cultural identities as sources of strength, vision, and purpose. Through vision board creation, mentorship circles, and storytelling, youth will have the opportunity to explore their dreams, set goals for the new school year, and map out actionable steps toward their future in education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

As a mentor, I’m passionate about helping youth connect with their roots, discover their strengths, and envision their success. Dream Builders is more than an event it’s a launchpad for the next chapter in our youth’s journeys, and I’m proud to walk alongside them in that process.
