About
Join the MacBride Copperbelt Mining Museum for an early autumn wander and search for minerals at the museum! Take a train ride to various locations on site to learn about the mineralization of the area and how it was used historically in the community, and explore the museum. You'll hear about how mining impacts our economic and cultural growth as a community from jobs, tertiary investment, closure, and long-term impacts.
Don't miss this hands-on walkthrough of Copperbelt history showing how close to our community mining actually occurred and how we re-use mining operations in the current times.
This event is made possible with funding support from the Government of Yukon.
