About

Roger Gibbs is a Barbadian-born singer/guitarist and recording artist who composes, arranges and performs Caribbean Acoustic and Calypso. He started at age fourteen with the Merryboys and then was lead singer for the Sandpebbles, a popular 70's dance band in the Caribbean.

Panman Pat is Toronto's foremost Pannist, Legendary - they say.

He was the first steelpan player to appear at the 1967 Caribana Festival. He won the Canadian Calypso Monarch in 1983 and 1985. He was a founding member of the Calypso Association of Canada. In 2005 he received The First Pan Pioneers Award.This session is brought to yoiu by the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton as part of our Beat The Covid Blues series.
