About

In collaboration with the Filipino Canadian Association of Kamloops, Kamloops Museum and Archives visitors are welcome to learn about Philippine (Filipino) culture and language through storytelling and an interactive, hands-on cultural activity. The Filipino bamboo dance “tinikling” is a fun, upbeat folk dance that involves skipping between two clapping bamboo sticks. All ages are welcome.

Storytelling 10 am - 10:30 am

Craft Station 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Bamboo Dance 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
