About

The Art Powered Studio is hosting an outdoor exhibition and sale of art, sculpture and poetry displayed throughout beautiful gardens at 2 Townley Street in Nottawa. Beautiful abstract stone sculptures created by Chaka Chikodzi and original paintings created by Lory Macdonald will be on display throughout the Culture Days event.

The Opening Reception is Saturday Sept 24 from 10am-6pm. Joining us for the day is Chantal Wolf featuring her Painted Words poetry book launch, high tea and live music.

Chaka is a Zimbabwean-Canadian stone sculptor working in volcanic rock that originates from the Great Dyke - a unique 500 km long and 90 km wide volcanic ridge in Zimbabwe. Chaka lives near Kingston Ontario. His sculptures can be displayed indoors or outdoors year-round. A variety of sizes are available suitable for both home and garden decor.

Lory MacDonald's art is abstract mixed media on wood panels. Her designs are inspired by the Canadian landscape and are rich in colour and texture.

*COVID Protocol: This event is outdoors and self-guided. Masks are optional. Purchases can be made touch-free using mobile phones. Free delivery is available.
