About

Youth will create engaging digital marketing material that will be used by BTC to promote the organization and its programs and services.

Youth facilitators from the Y2A Program will teach youth about social media marketing, including a Canva tutorial and video editing over 2 virtual workshops.

Youth will then meet in person on October 12 to receive the details of their project, prepare scripts and will have 4 hours to go into the community to record their videos.

(First 2 sessions will be Virtual)

BTC Be the Change

BTC Be the Change, is an organization that was established in 2020 with the primary objective of supporting the needs of young individuals during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by Black girls in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). BTC has been instrumental in providing virtual services aimed at fostering their sense of identity and self-esteem. These services have also played a crucial role in guiding these young individuals in their educational pathways and planning, thereby empowering them to make informed decisions about their future.
